I specialise in film work and have acted in a range of period drama, surreal/noir and music/dance related films. A recent role was in the Danish TV drama/film ‘1864’ – Dir. Ole Bornedal. I played Johanna von Bismarck opposite Rainer Bock (‘A Most Wanted Man’, ‘Inglourious Basterds’)’s Otto von Bismarck. ‘1864’ was broadcast in Denmark in October 2014 and subsequently ran on BBC FOUR.
Here’s a scene from the Nancy Bishop Film Acting Workshop:
Having trained in Film Acting at the City Literary Institute and with private acting coaches and casting directors such as Nancy Bishop, Gabriella Santinelli, Bryan Radtke, Seth Michael May, Val Cozens and Michael Irving, I appeared in a number of independent films in London, including:
My Other Half – Dir. Stine Kjaer Hansen and Therese Hasman
A film based on the book, “Steppenwolf” by Herman Hesse. I played the female lead, Hermine, who teaches Harry to dance and leads him into a new world beyond his literary safe haven.
Fate – Dir. Sel Omer Vedat
A film about a girl obsessed with Madonna, who takes to the talent show arena to prove her sense of self-worth and identity.
Singing to a Ghost – Dir. Noriko Aida
A drama-documentary about a woman’s life and history growing up in Japan and moving to London and the history of her father’s experiences of war that haunt her. I play a friend who’s in an abusive relationship and needs to find a way out and find a friend.
